I visited students in Kilgore, Texas virtually this week. Visiting with Mrs. Debra Dugger‘s fourth grade class at Kilgore Intermediate School via video conference, I encouraged students to follow their passions and solve the problems they see around them.

Within the session, I shared my childhood story about how writing developed as my passion and invited students to share their own passions and how they’re currently pursuing them.
